The majority of scholars agree that the entire body of a woman is awrah, except for her face and palms.
But when these parts which are ordinarily not considered awrah are adorned, they must be covered and concealed.
Your henna is an adornment to your hands, therefore, its pictures or videos should not be displayed on social media.
The Prophet said:
لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يكون هواه تبعًا لما جئت به
None of you truly believes until his desires are in accordance with what I have brought.
Your submission to what Allah and His Messenger have commanded should take precedence over social media trends.
May Allah rectify us all.
A lady is 4 in 1 every month.
Ever feel like a totally different person from one week to the next? It’s not in your head. It’s your hormones. Your cycle is divided into four "seasons," and each one brings a new version of you.
Here is a breakdown.

Let me share my opinion on the Islamic perspective to this.
In Islam, every creation has a Ghayah (an ultimate end). This is why I argue that a child with a disability is not a biological error: they are also a purposeful creation.
The first thing we look at is the biological timeline. Based on the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the soul is breathed into the body at 120 days. Before this mark, the fetus is a living entity but has not reached full legal personhood as a soul.
If a medical board confirms a fatal condition that is incompatible with life, some scholars allow a choice for termination to avoid unbearable hardship. But once that 120 day mark passes, the child is a full citizen of this world. At that point, the move is no longer about a medical choice. It is about a commitment to a life that Allah has already decided to send.
Again, we have to be very careful with how we categorize disability because not all conditions are the same. A fatal malformation such as anencephaly, where the child cannot survive outside the womb, is handled with a specific legal leniency before the soul is breathed in.
However, for conditions that are life altering but sustainable, such as Down Syndrome or physical limb differences, the Islamic argument is one of patience (Sabr) and spiritual refinement.
Allah says in the Quran that He created humans in the best of stature. This does not mean everyone has a perfect body or a high IQ. It means the design is perfect for that soul's specific journey and test.
A child who may never commit a sin due to his/her incapacity or who requires constant care is a specialized mission from the Creator.
Ibn al-Qayyim argued this in Miftah Dar al-Sa'adah that the existence of "deficiency" in the world is proof of the "Perfection" of the Creator. He made a profound intellectual point: if everything were perfect, we would never know what mercy, completeness, patience, or gratitude looked like. In this context, it forces the parents and the community to practice mercy (Rahmah) and humility.
Again in Islam, there is a paradox in how we look at strength. While the world thinks a disabled child takes away your resources, the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us that victory and provision (Rizq) come because of the weak among us.
That child might be the secret reason you have a job, health, wealth, or safety. They are not the ones dependent on you. You are the one dependent on the blessings that come with their presence in your home.
If this happens to a Muslim, the next move for a father is to be the pillar (Qawwam) for his wife. He must ensure she feels no shame or guilt. He should realize he has been selected to raise a guest of Jannah. This is a promotion in rank, not a tragedy to be avoided.
You are being asked to guard a soul that Allah specifically chose for your house. Your role is to accept the decree (Qadar) and prepare for a unique gate to Paradise that most people will never have the chance to enter.
Allah knows best.
There is a common misconception that the hijab is an optional accessory. In reality, it isn’t a secondary addition to a woman’s wardrobe. It is a fundamental part of it. It’s not about what is added to the clothing but how the clothing is defined.
For the Muslim woman,
Men lead, women follow.
Men provide the house, women provide the home.
Men provide the food, Women provide the meals.
Men provide the money, women provide the budget.
Men provide the protection, women provide the purpose.
Different roles, equal value, one goal.

As usual, I believe some people have cleaned their camera lenses, eagerly waiting to capture images of the moon tonight and perhaps begin their usual remarks about this moon not being a first crescent. Unfortunately, I have bad news: the crescent will still not be visible to the naked eye this evening in Nigeria bi izinillah . This is because the moon's age will be just over 16 hours, and a crescent is typically easily visible with the naked eye when it reaches 18 hours or more. Additionally, the moon’s illumination will be less than 0.5%. Even in Niger Republic and Mali, where sightings of the crescent were claimed yesterday, it will not be visible today.
The crescent should be easily visible to the naked eye tomorrow, Friday, In shaa Allah because it will be about 40hrs old by sunset in Nigeria .
Allah has made it possible for us to understand the movements of the sun and moon, as evidenced by many verses in the Quran. Allah stated in the Quran: Surah Ar-Rahman (55:5) states: "The sun and the moon move along their computed courses" (or follow a precise calculation). This verse highlights the perfect, ordained, and punctual motion of the celestial bodies as a sign of Allah’s mercy, power, and precise design in the universe, emphasizing order, consistency, and divine regulation.
Allahu a’alaam!!!
Look at what just passed on my timeline.
A Muslim couple posting anniversary pictures. Pregnancy scan in one slide, kissing in another, hugging in another, holding hands, then a caption full of duas asking Allah to bless their home with barakah.
Let me start with the husband. As a Muslim man you are meant to have ghayrah and protect the dignity of your home. Instead you are turning intimate moments of your marriage into content for strangers on the internet to consume. Marriage in Islam is an amanah, not a social media performance.
Now the wife. Allah honoured Muslim women with modesty and haya, yet you are comfortable displaying romantic moments publicly for the world to watch. Love between spouses is a mercy from Allah, but Islam never taught us to broadcast those private moments for attention.
Now the comments are even more interesting. People clearly see what is going on yet they rush to type “Allahumma barik”, “May you reach Jannah together”, “I can’t wait to recreate mine”.
So now anything becomes acceptable as long as you decorate it with Islamic phrases.
Some of you already know something is wrong but instead of advising you admire it. Slowly turning marriages, pregnancies and private moments into public entertainment.
Not everything needs to be posted. Not every moment of marriage needs an audience. Protect your homes before social media turns everything sacred into content. May Allah guide us. 🤲
PRAYER TIMES NIGERIA ( PRAYER TIMES APP) BY SIMWAL JIBRIL
We are proud to announce the launch of Nigeria’s first indigenous prayer app based on the Maliki school of thought — built specifically for Muslims across the country.
Designed with precision and authenticity, this app provides accurate prayer times for all the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria, calculated according to the Maliki fiqh. Whether you are in Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, or any remote town, you can rely on correct timings tailored to your exact location.
Even without internet access, the app continues to function seamlessly with its offline prayer time calculation feature, ensuring you never miss your salah wherever you are. With smart location detection, it automatically identifies your position and delivers precise prayer times instantly.
Importantly, the Hijri date in the app is not fixed. It is designed to be adjustable to align with the officially declared date following the sighting of the new crescent and the announcement of the Sultan, ensuring conformity with recognized religious authority in Nigeria.
This milestone would not have been possible without the expertise and dedication of Orygin Solutions @oryginOS , who partnered in developing and bringing this vision to life. Their technical excellence and commitment to innovation helped make this app a reality.
This is more than just a prayer time app — it is a locally built solution for Nigerian Muslims, rooted in our jurisprudential tradition and powered by reliable technology.

So Ramadan is by the corner, and some of you including those influenced by non Muslims have started discrediting the seat of the caliphate, Sultan this Sultan that, everyone is fighting for leadership, to be in charge, to be the one to announce the sighting of the moon, to what end?
Is it today that the Sultan began making announcements? For every month, there’s an update from the @moonsightingng committee, you don’t have a problem with that, it’s Ramadan that it’s your problem?
“Whoever comes to you while you are united under one leader, seeking to divide you, reject him.”
~ Sahih Muslim
Ramadan was never meant to be a contest of authority or a platform for personal influence. It is an act of worship tied to unity, obedience, and the collective body of the Muslims.
When we abandon unity, even in something as sacred as Ramadan, we reduce the Ummah to confusion, exactly what the Prophet (saw) warned us against.
May Allah unite our hearts, protect us from fitnah, and allow us to welcome Ramadan as one Ummah.
I don't care what anyone says but kindness pays. It pays like mad.
In the end, it pays.
As muslims, our mindset shouldn't just be fixated on just the dunya. There's the akhirah.
But then, kindness pays here and there.
And be kind fisabilillah. ❣
Be kind.
The number of women who are not interested in pursuing anything with men right now is honestly astonishing. It is not just a trend, it is a quiet, collective shift. Women are tapping out mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. They are not bitter, they are not heartless, they are simply exhausted.
Exhausted from the constant cycles of disappointment. Exhausted from giving love that is not reciprocated. Exhausted from having to play roles they were never meant to play, lover, healer, therapist, mother, peacemaker, all while getting the bare minimum in return.
You really turned women all the way off.
It was not just the lies or the cheating. It was the gaslighting. The breadcrumbing. The emotional unavailability. The way men pursued them passionately, only to neglect them once they had them. The way effort became a foreign language, and consistency felt like a rare luxury.
Women are tired of explaining how they deserve to be treated. They are tired of reminding grown men about basic respect. They are tired of lowering their standards just to say they have someone. So they are stepping back. And stepping up for themselves.
Now more women are pouring into themselves. They are choosing peace over partnership. They are traveling alone, healing alone, building alone. They have stopped waiting for a man to choose them, because they have already chosen themselves.
It is not that they do not want love. It is that they refuse to settle for something that looks like love but feels like emptiness. And until someone comes along who adds peace instead of problems, who brings security instead of stress, they are perfectly fine staying single.
And honestly, that is not a loss. That is self respect.
A child is the fruit of their parents’ hearts and the coolness of their eyes. A parent would go to any length to protect their child from pain and harm. Yet the greatest supplication a parent can make to Allāh for their child is that He protects them from disbelief and misguidance — for nothing brings greater sorrow and loss, in this life and the Hereafter, than a heart turned away from eemaan (faith) and guidance.
