Last year with the help of my class and my kindness club members, I created an affirmation wall outside of my classroom with encouraging words written on post-its. To support creating a welcoming, and safe space in our school, students could take a note or hang a new one up!

I always refer to our Classroom Promise when reviewing expectations with my first graders. This classroom promise represents what we want our classroom to look like and sound like. Each student signs their name to PROMISE to be respectful, kind, helpful, and to do their best!

So proud of my younger sister (an Arlington Senior) for planning an event for her Civic Engagement and Leadership class to raise money for Compassionate Care Animal Shelter!!! She set up a “pet photoshoot” and did amazing!!! ♥︎
