Calling all educators! We all know that students best learn in environments where their basic needs have been met. This winter, my team hopes to provide warm winter apparel to students in a low-income district. Please check out this link: https://t.co/27JW3ljbEL
SOOOO.... Introducing the "Walk in My Moccasins" project! Directions are provided below along with a template! For my example, my moccasins and I feel pretty tired today after a late night. #walkinmymoccasins#walktwomoons
Calling all educators!! Recently, I developed a unit plan for "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech. It is a wonderful novel about coming to terms with grief and learning how to view things through others' perspectives.
The main theme says, "Don't judge a man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins." I figured it might be nice to have a "Flat Stanley" sort of project to share with your class, to get a glimpse of their perspectives.
As a personal friend of this sweet girl, I can vouch for her amazing ability to inspire others and live passionately. This is DEFINITELY worth your time!
We are excited to announce we will have the amazing Becca Buzzie on campus TOMORROW to speak to us about her journey with cerebral palsy. Be sure to come by! She has an awesome story. #gcc#gccedu

Meet the next officer of CEC, secretary @__miss_johnson_ Here is why she does CEC. “CEC offers many opportunities to advocate for, work with, and serve students and adults with special needs. They offer so many resources in order to better serve this amazing community.” #cec
Meet our president @miss_ewing_edu and hear why she does ECE! I love the message that CEC sends to people: every student is important and deserving of an education. This community is certainly no less than exceptional, and I want to build that environment of love and acceptance.
Hey GCC community! Highly recommend this new account @CEC_GCC to receive updates on Grove City’s chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children. Let’s be the advocates for these special students! #gccedu
Just got back from counseling at my favorite camp, @psc_camp ! There’s just something about this job that allowed me to live my life through the lenses of children that could easily be my future students. Truly eye-opening!
@SFecich thanks again for your positive energy in every single class! I’m gonna miss your “Bring Your Own Mug Monday” classes as I head into finals! #gccedu#positivity#specialed
