This! Plus, I wouldn’t be worth my salt without mentioning #TeachFirst put you with a school for a reason. It might seem alien right now but I’ve been with mine a long time now. It’s worth the work.
To all ECT and SCITT always remember you were chosen by your school. They spotted something in you that made them think we need this person. Keep remembering that even when it seems to be tough, just remember you were wanted by that school @MrTs_NQTs
@OliHaley P.S. it won’t stay that clean in your first year, and that’s okay! Children can be messy, but 10 mins work and the cleaners will thank and appreciate you.
@MissT_teaches Things will go wrong; don’t panic. You’re doing well. Befriend your colleagues, make use of support offered to you. You’ll never have more time than now, but you won’t believe me when you start. Work smarter, not harder. Have a network or support. Come home to something different

@schoolboarding@nickleggat@Mr_B_Morgan I went to a run of the mill secondary, and got myself a degree, a masters (on scholarship), and a teaching qualification paid by a charity. It is not the “only way” to get ahead. I don’t underestimate the difficulties in doing these things, and I know I had a hell of a lot of …
