This week we have been celebrating the Queens Platinum jubilee 👑🇬🇧 We baked scones and a Victoria sponge, which we decorated like the flag with fruit and enjoyed these at a royal garden party dress as kings, queens, prince’s and princesses 💫🍰🫖 @beanxnursery

The ❤️ and 💙 groups had fun exploring at @JupiterWildlife today 🌳 We learned about what seeds need to grow and sang some songs about a wiggly worms and hopping bunnies!
We also used teamwork skills to build a gruffalo den 🪵 @beanxnursery @MissMarshallx92

Following on from our recent interest in Ice Cream, we went on a trip to our local ice cream shop. Thank you so much @candied.icecream.parlour for allowing us to visit and sample your delicious ice cream! What an amazing experience for our learners 🍨🍦🍡 @beanxnursery

Last week we developed our own Ice Cream Shop 🍦🍨
We took turns at serving and being customers and explored different flavours and scents.
We were mark making with cones and had a turn at scooping our own ice cream 😊 @beanxnursery

We love Musical Theatre with Mrs Blair 🎭🎵 Yesterday we learned a slow routine and were practicing to “throw our glitter” ✨

Lots of smiles at the park today with the ❤️ and 💙 groups! We played, had a picnic lunch followed by one of our favourite stories, and even enjoyed ice lollies in the sun ☀️ @MissMarshallx92 @beanxnursery

Our little chefs have been helping to prepare snack and lunchtime larder options 👨🏼‍🍳

Some of the foods we have tried this week include: stir fry noodles with curry sauce, homemade potato wedges and wrap pizzas with different toppings food 🍜 🍕 #marvellousmealtimes @beanxnursery

We used listening skills to listen to and identify different instruments and explored a water xylophone using jars filler with different amounts of water 🎼🎹🌈

This week we’ve been exploring music. We learned names of instruments and experimented with various ways to make music. We developed our language by describing the sounds. We were being rockstars and today we were DJ’s. We plan to perform a show next week 🎸💿🎵 @beanxnursery

HELLO SPRING 🌷⛅️🐑

Today we explored a tuff tray representing signs of spring! We learned that in spring, new flowers grow and baby animals are born.
We also created still life paintings of flowers 🌸 “they’re called daffodils”MW @beanxnursery

As it was a very windy day, we chose to make kites to see if they could fly! We had lots of fun exploring the weather and seeing the effects of the wind! We seen a rainbow too, we know that rainbows are made when it’s raining and sunny at the same time 💨🪁🌈 @beanxnursery

Today Beancross nursery transformed into Hogwarts! We dined in the great hall, built hogwarts in the block area, created school ties and lots more magical activities! Lots of fun had by all our wizards and witches 🧙‍♀️⚡️🪄 #BXNursery @beanxnursery
