@kfurchert1 @maine_juli @dr_srobertson I totally felt that way last yr. I was a sub in a special ed district. I was split into 4 schools & never knew what type of class I was going to be in. Since moving districts & being in one school it has gotten better. I know all the kids & teachers & have a rapport with them. 👍

@dr_srobertson I think critical pedagogy involves the processes of reflection and action. It involves thinking deeply about the world, reflecting on the way it is and why it is that way, and then taking action to change injustices. #css510

@dr_srobertson I believe that I currently use the generative model most often. Winks describes the generative model as including the use of small groups. I often implement stations and collaborative work in my classroom. I strive to use the transformative model whenever possible. #css510

#css510 I believe my teaching model would be transformative. In our text it says, "In transformative pedagogy the goal includes generating knowledge but extends from the classroom to the community." I strive to bring life skills and community-based learning into the classroom.
