Reception classroom 2024 🌈 After a year of Mat Leave I feel like I could almost be back in the swing of teaching (almost)! Despite being exhausted after the first week back, I’m so excited for what the year will bring! Let’s do this 💪🏻⭐️
Trying my best to start 2025 off right by posting more ✨ Here is our small world set up for the story of Hansel and Gretel 🧡🍭 Perfect for our topic this term of Tradition Tales - this adaptation by Bethan Woollvin brings a twist to the classic story that the children love! 🍬
An absolute privilege to lead leadership training with @TowngateHead for our next generation of leaders -
Laughter, trust and collaboration all day-
Wonderful group and a fabulous collection of ‘must reads’
I take every opportunity to remind the children in my class just how amazing they are and that they can do and be anything they want to be 💕🌈 #positiveaffirmations#eyfsteacher
This is Alistair. He has Williams Syndrome. On Saturday, I will be taking him to his first football match. @TheGillsFC playing at @drfc_official I'm sharing this as Alistair will be saying hello to everyone. Saying hello back will absolutely make his day. 1/2
The Sweet Shop is open 🍬🍭 To start off the Spring term the maths area has turned into a sweet shop! Through play children consolidated and applied what they had learnt about weight, money, subitising and numeral recognition in an engaging and imaginative way ✨#eyfsmaths
On Thursday 15th December we will be hosting an open evening, 4 - 5:30pm, for potential new parents and carers to look around our wonderful school. Staff will be there to answer any questions. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces!

Introducing… peg doll football ⚽️ based on the favourite teams of the children in my class @LFC and @LUFC ❤️💙 They used strategising skills to plan player positions and moves alongside subitising to keep track of score! The talk that came from this too was just brilliant ✨
In #TPAReceptionYear1 we have played table football with our favourite teams - we strategised and subitised in each game to position players and keep score of our match! @LFC and @LUFC what do you think of our mini football teams? ⚽️✨
The bedtime story bags are all set up and ready to be sent out to KS1 and EYs this week! ✨ Encouraging a love of reading and shared experiences of reading with loved ones 📚 (and you can have a nice hot chocolate with it too ☕️) Inspired by @artofearlyyears 💕#loveofreading
