I will never take for granted all the love I have in my life. I’ve been spoilt with it and I’ll never take it for granted. Thanks to everyone who has loved and loves me. ❤️
Thank you for raising this, and I want to answer you directly, publicly, because you deserve that and so does everyone reading.
What happened to you is not right. It is not normal. It is illegal. If you are a valid NHIS member and you were charged for services and medicines the scheme covers, that is a co-payment, and no credentialed facility, public or private, is permitted to do it. Nearly GH¢400 out of your pocket at a government hospital while holding a valid card is exactly the practice we are working to end.
Two things you should know. This year alone, the NHIA has paid approximately GH¢1.46 billion in claims to facilities across the country, public, private and mission, so that they are reimbursed and have no reason to charge you at the counter. And we have reviewed and increased tariffs, which had been left untouched for years, so that reimbursement now reflects the real cost of treating conditions like malaria, medicines included. The excuse for charging illegally is gone.
So please let us make this right. Call our call centre or send us a DM with your receipts and the facility's name, and we will act on it.
And to everyone reading: this is exactly what you must report. Do not pay quietly and walk away. Tell us, with your evidence, and we will deal with it. That is the only way we end it, together. 🇬🇭
🇬🇭🥈 Ghana's Trey Haun Manboora produced an outstanding display to claim the silver medal at the Unicycle World Championships in Austria.
The talented Ghanaian impressed on the global stage with a remarkable performance, securing a podium finish and adding another proud moment to Ghana's growing presence in international sport.

Did you know? Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder may have a higher risk of hearing impairment and ear infections? Research shows that hearing difficulties can sometimes overlap with communication challenges associated with autism, making proper assessment especially important.
If your ward struggles to respond to sounds, frequently has ear infections, seems not to hear you, or has delayed speech, don’t just assume it’s the autism.
Dr. Isaac Barnor, a senior paediatric ENT specialist, is available for FREE consultations to help identify possible ear, nose and throat concerns and recommend the right way to manage them.
Come with your ward. Come with your questions. Let’s find answers that can make a difference.

People living with Autism have their own strengths, challenges, and ways of seeing the world.
True acceptance goes beyond awareness. It means creating environments where individuals living with autism feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive at home, in school, at work, and in every public space.
Acceptance in Action starts with all of us.
