Other than parents, no one cares more about Ss than their teachers. Our commitment to the education, well-being, and safety of our Ss, their families, and the learning environments we share, remains our top priority during this global pandemic.
I have created a project on Donors Choose to raise funds to add inclusive books to my kindergarten classroom. Donations are currently being matched when using the promo code LIFTOFF at checkout. Representation matters. Reading matters. Thank you! π https://t.co/NhmoSBTpOv
Getting ready for our Kindergarten Celebration party on Google Meet. It looks a bit different this year, but I am thankful to still be able to connect and celebrate with my students π @DublinSchools@DWEdublin
Check out the chart for more times and locations around the District to pick up breakfasts and lunches, in addition to Riverside Elementary and Scioto High School. Distribution will begin Monday. For more information, check out the link: https://t.co/QoJqRq8Gaa
Our book donation for this month was a book written in English and Spanish. I, being someone who is not fluent in another language, knew I couldnβt read this book to my students. So, we asked some brave 5th graders to come read to us in English AND in Spanish. How lucky are we?!
I LOVED being immersed in kindergarten learning in @missburkey room today! It is always amazing hearing 5 year olds engage in discourse ("I know this because..." Or "I saw it in a different way") @DWEdublin
