🚨 $10,000 REWARD: Dog Found Duct-Taped and Left in Dumpster
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this horrific act of animal cruelty.
Leo, a dog from Omaha, Nebraska, was found inside a dumpster with duct tape wrapped around his muzzle, paws, and tail. Workers heard noises coming from the dumpster and discovered Leo trapped inside just before the garbage was scheduled to be collected.
Thankfully, Leo survived. After receiving veterinary care, he was reunited with his owner and is recovering.
Anyone with information is urged to call Animal Control at 402-444-7800, Ext. 1.
🐾 No animal should ever endure this kind of abuse. Hopefully, the person responsible is identified and held accountable.
A lump on the neck. That's all the initial report said 💔 .
When this swan arrived with us, our veterinary team began investigating the cause of the swelling. Sadly, the answer was all too familiar.
An X-ray revealed a pellet embedded in her neck.
Someone, somewhere, had fired a catapult or similar weapon at this legally protected bird. The pellet narrowly missed causing catastrophic injuries, and she was incredibly lucky to survive.
This is exactly why we work alongside Naturewatch Foundation as part of their **Target Crime, Not Wildlife** campaign. Every year, we see the devastating consequences of wildlife persecution, with animals injured, maimed and killed by weapons that are far too easily obtained and used against wildlife.
For this swan, the outcome could have been very different.
Instead of spending this time of year out on the water, potentially preparing to raise a family of her own, she is recovering in a hospital enclosure because of a completely preventable act of cruelty.
No wild animal should have to endure this.
Please join us in supporting calls for stronger legislation around the sale and possession of catapults and other weapons commonly used to harm wildlife.
Together, we can help ensure fewer animals suffer injuries like this in the future.

Now we saved 2,000 beagles!!
Ridglan Farms is shutting down. And the pups are going free.
Every tear gas shot, every felony charge, every day in jail — it was all worth it.
To the thousand volunteers who risked your freedom to save the pups this year, and to the millions of people around the world who followed and poured out your care, I want to say:
Thank you.
We did it. ALL of us.
There are still 15,000+ beagles at MBR who need our help. We’re coming for them.
Let’s save them all!!!
If you like the dogs I share and they cheer you up daily, I’d love you to watch this one video.
I only do this once a year and never ask any other time.
You can support here and if you can’t sharing this video helps 🙏 https://t.co/Roftrb3ZWW
Campaigners are calling for a UK-wide ban on plastic flying rings, the cheap beach toys sold for as little as £1 or £2, after mounting evidence that they are causing slow and painful deaths to seals around the British coastline, with the toys regularly lost on beaches before drifting into the sea where curious animals investigate them.
Once a ring slips over a seal's head it cannot be removed, and as the animal grows the plastic cuts deeper into the skin, causing severe infection and eventually strangling the animal, with the RSPCA estimating that treating and rehabilitating a seal with entanglement injuries can cost up to £15,000.
Sue Sayer, founder of the Seal Research Trust, is taking the campaign to Westminster and urging MPs to act, pointing out that a single ring can kill more than one creature as the toy floats free again after each death, and stressing that most beachgoers have no idea of the harm they are causing when they buy and lose the toys on beaches.
Lucy remembers the moment she was taken from her family at age 2.
She remembers 48 years of frigid winters, empty enclosures, and no one to share her grief.
She doesn’t need a “good zoo.”
She needs freedom. She needs sanctuary. She needs us.

I am so incredibly proud of "Alley Cats" and I can't wait for it to be released into the world. As with everything I’ve ever done, some won’t like it, some will actively hate it, but some of you will fucking love it. Purrfect.
🚨 BOX OCCUPATION UPDATE 🚨
Negotiations for the release of the giant cardboard box have once again failed.
My demands remain entirely reasonable:
Treatos
Roast chicken
More blankets
Less work
The box remains occupied.
The cat remains comfortable.
The talks remain stalled.
“Conducting dairy diagnostics…”
Milk status: Perfectly acceptable.
Offending smell: Not the milk.
Primary suspects:
• The FC’s lunch
• The FC’s feet
• The FC’s perfume
• A disturbing combination of all three
Case closed.

The world can be noisy, so don’t forget to listen to the little voice inside that says, “You’ve got this.”
Some days, simply getting through with kindness in your heart is more than enough.
💔 16-year-old Lola has tragically been found dead after she was stolen from her doorstep and dropped over half a mile away. 😡
Shocking footage captured the moment a man and a woman led the tabby cat away from outside her house.
Days later, her owner received a call saying Lola had been found dead under a car outside a nearby primary school.
Vets told her family that the elderly pet died from dehydration on her attempted journey home during the high temperatures.
Her owner, Naseem Aktar, says the loss has broken her heart.
"Lola was like a child to us – she was a member of the family. She was a non-vocal cat, so she couldn’t make noises, but it breaks my heart, as you can see her struggling to get away in the videos," she said.
The family believe Lola was taken to an address over half a mile away before being released to make her own way back.
Because Lola was an indoor cat who was terrified of cars, her owner says she would have had no idea how to navigate the busy main roads. 😢
She later contacted police, but says she is angry after officers told her they would not be taking the matter any further.
Naseem claims she was told the couple would not be charged because no offences had been committed, despite her pushing for charges under animal welfare and theft laws.
"It also disgusts me that the police aren’t taking action. This couple are responsible for Lola’s death, yet they don’t seem to care," she said.
Lola was buried in the family's back garden, surrounded by roses and flowers.
Police said they are aware of the alleged theft but have closed the crime due to insufficient evidence after exhausting all lines of enquiry.
RIP Lola, it breaks our hearts to think about what you went through 💔

Strength isn’t about doing it all yourself.
It’s about knowing when to help others and when to accept help in return.

Leave yesterday's burdens where they are and start today with a light load of expectation for the good things to come.

You won't believe what happened the other day.
Maurine was inside Auntie Chrissie's greenhouse. When he saw her coming towards it he panicked and smashed his way straight through the glass door!
It was a miracle that he wasn't hurt.
Betty took loads of photos but there was no sign of injury, thank goodness.
It didn't seem to have affected his appetite because he ate ALL of my breakfast!
