My class did these portraits over a year ago on our transition day when they were still in their Reception class. Now look at the details we include in our portraits!
Imagine what they’d look like in another 365 days!
Often, maths can be learnt as a set of facts, methods or technique… At @stsilasschool we believe it should be closer to what we know, use and live everyday…. plus, we can make it fun to learn. Look at these giggles! 🤭

Resilience in writing is the ability to adapt & improve despite setbacks, using persistence & flexibility to overcome challenges. It means learning from phonetical mistakes, keeping motivated and continuing to develop these skills even when it feels difficult. Keep on! 🖊️

I was so proud of these children today. I attended their Passing Out Ceremony after they completed the Beacon Project with the amazing @MerseyFire team at Bankhall Fire Station. It was an incredible experience, and they’ve learned some important life skills.
We’re so proud of our Year 6s. They’re preparing to move on to secondary school, and we celebrated them and all their achievements at the annual Liverpool Diocese Leavers Service at the Anglican Cathedral this afternoon.
