men did not take my garbage. I tried explaining that it was emptied and I filled it up again on Tuesday. They are convinced the garbage truck did not take my garbage and someone brought the bin off the street to the storage area (It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me!). 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Garbage day has been on Tuesday for the past 20 years. Tuesday was my last day at the old apartment. I brought the bin in (from being emptied) and filled it up with the rest of the garbage from the apartment. Just got a text from the landlord who can't understand why the garbage

Today was an accident prone moving day. Bashed a knuckle into the corner of a door (bled forever), hit my head on a cabinet corner, scraped my forearm, scratches all over my legs...only three hours of sleep last night so I'm attributing it to that. Painful day but got lots done!!

I've been without internet this week thanks to a storm, so I had to bust out the portable DVD player to watch some of my favorites: The Italian Job, Bourne Identity, and Bourne Supremacy. It's a good thing I held on to the old school DVDs for this exact reason!! It's so fun!!

Starting the process of moving out of the apartment I've been in for 20 years. I am red-faced and sweating. Trying to conquer the kitchen today. Where do I put everything so it makes sense?!

Today is my birthday 🎂. I spent the day getting all the bday freebies, continuing the packing process, and had my favorite dinner (Chinese) with my brother and his family. We watched Descendants #5 (my first of the franchise). It was a great day!!

Signed a new apartment lease for the first time in 20 years. It's bittersweet. Also, packing up and moving is the worst.

You know what's annoying? When you've watched 115 minutes of a scoreless game and you go to change the laundry during a short halftime break and come back to see that you missed the only goal scored. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Soccer (football) isn't the most exciting sport to watch. However, watching the passing game of these elite World Cup teams is really where the fun is. Just wow! It's like a finely choreographed dance that is made up on the spot. Amazing!!

It is July 10th at 10 PM, and there are still fireworks going off in my neighborhood. Just when you are reaching that sweet comfy sleepy feeling, you have to start all over again because your heart is racing. 😭

When you accidentally fall asleep early, wake up in the middle of the night thinking it's almost morning, but find out it's only 10:30 PM and get to sleep for lots more hours! 🙌
