Seeing the news this morning about universities continuing with online lectures into the autumn term. This is a national scandal, our daughter has had her experience completely ruined this year. Schools back, pubs open, universities... closed. Dreadful.
My friends son has just told us that one of his best friends has been found dead-he hung himself-he’s in bits wondering how they missed the turmoil he must have suffered in the weeks leading up to this. This is so common-we must teach our boys it’s ok to ask for help & reach out❤️
Anyone else in that awkward limbo stage where they are waiting to see if their temporary NQT contract will become permanent? Or if you will even be kept on at the school at all? I hate this 😫 desperate to stay at my lovely school 🤞
📚 COMPETITION TIME 📚 To celebrate #WorldBookDay this week we're giving away FOUR mini book bundles for you or your school library. All teachers & parents welcome to enter. Simply:

What children need when the pandemic is over: children’s centres, playgroups, youth clubs, sports clubs, swimming, music & drama groups, days out, birthday parties, visits to museums, the theatre, cinemas, residentials, outdoor ed. What they don’t need: more maths and English.
Was so nice to chat to some parents on the phone this week and hear that their child is loving doing the work online, and mum was even joining in and learning with him! Just so glad to hear something positive 🥰🙌
Message to parents.
Please only use the key worker as a last resort. It is not an entitlement that you must use, it is support if absolutely necessary.
This is getting bloody ridiculous now.
@JosiePosie2@BBCNews@BBCBreakfast I used to work as a TA at this school and I can confirm this is definitely normally a full classroom 🤣 definitely just been organised for the cameras 🙈
