@HerUniverse I beg please set the wristband distribution time to 8:00 am or earlier. Many attendees also attend SDCC and the distribution process can take hours. That being said, I had a blast last year and I am looking forward to it this year.
I don’t want a city on Mars.
I don’t want AI on every app.
I don’t want data centers in space.
I want clean water.
I want our food to be safe.
I want the bees to survive.
The first time you get called the n slur out of malice is such a terrible feeling but it’s one every black child knows bc it’s the realization that u are hated on the mere principle of existing
one of the saddest thing is people with diabilities thinking these people are allies when in reality they are using this as a way to spew their thoughts about “black americans”
African Americans specifically and Black people around the globe seeing @BBC and @BAFTA for the inherently racist institutions that they are. Populated by a racist media class.
Anyone Black who has had the extreme displeasure of working in the UK Film and Television industries already knows this.
This is why most of our talent goes stateside…to have some kind of future.
John Davidson’s Pointed Choice Not To Apologize To Michael B. Jordan And Delroy Lindo For Involuntarily Shouting The N-Word At Them At The BAFTAs Has Not Gone Unnoticed https://t.co/8ECTiuvQ4I
Warner Bros says that they raised immediate concerns when John Davidson shouted the N-word in an involuntary tic while Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo were on stage.
They requested for the moment to be removed from the broadcast but it was kept in.

The BAFTAS intentionally left that genocidal anti-Black slur in. Warner Brothers immediately told them to take it off the air before it aired and before the delayed show caught up. The BAFTAS refused to do it but cut out "Free Palestine" from Akinola Davies jr speech.
