We had our first mystery reader today in kindergarten! Our mystery reader read “A Day with a Nurse Anesthetist” and she even brought us scrub caps and masks!
Thank you to @molly_hornsby for the mystery reader idea!
@aim4lsu Thinking with the teacher means allowing the teacher to draw their own conclusions. This also makes me think of a quote "the best teachers show you where to look, but does not tell you what to see."
@aim4lsu This quote makes me think that providing feedback needs to be meaningful. It can be discouraging for a teacher if someone is criticizing their teaching and telling them ways to improve. We need to provide learning and opportunities for people to improve.
@aim4lsu My favorite way to learn when working with a coach is through modeling and knowing the exact thinking process from the coach's perspective! Coaches are like teachers so I like learning from the "I do, We do, You do" model.
@mrsbbarksdale@aim4lsu Dealing with behaviors is such a team effort, you would go crazy without the support of admin and teachers! I hate that you worked with admin that did not help support you with behaviors but I know that you have found a wonderful support system at your new home!
@aim4lsu A3: A time I needed help and didn’t ask was when I was in a team with new teachers to the district. I took on more responsibilities to help the new teachers and the situation ended with me being very overwhelmed and overworked. I learned that I need to learn to delegate tasks.
@aim4lsu A2: a pointed I think would help me most is Reframe. Reframing my request as an opportunity for others! I need to show them I trust them and ask them for help!
