Q7: When I was thinking about going to gradschool, I asked my principal/mentor about their thoughts. They both gave me advice/feedback along the lines of 'do what is right, not what is easy' and I think about that all the time. The easy thing is not always the right thing. #EPPSP

Q6: I have become better at listening and then asking for time to think about what might work best for the teacher/student before immediately replying. This may not always be the most favorable response people want, but sometimes you have to go slow to go fast. #EPPSP

Q5: Once meaningful relationships have formed, I think leaning into and celebrating the strengths of educators on your team is important. They become empowered and motivated to share their skills with others which ultimately leads to a greater impact on students #EPPSP

Q4: I have had trouble determining when it is best to speak up or simply listen, especially since I am new to my role. However, through EPPSP and witnessing my principal lead, I have learned skills that have made me a more confident and inspired leader. #EPPSP

Q3: Dare to Lead by Brene Brown- cant put it down!!! It is my book study for Phase IV and her ways of educating adults on SEL in the workplace are astounding- read it, you wont be disappointed! #EPPSP

Q2: The experiential aspect allowed me to extend my perspective beyond the classroom or even my current district. I have been able to talk to, experience, and witness many things I wouldnt have otherwise. #EPPSP

Q1: I knew it was the right choice because so many educators I admired went through the program and spoke so highly of the cohort model. I also came from a long line of Butler Bulldogs in my family and felt it was a great place for pursuing grad school! #EPPSP
