As part of a five lesson series on #DigitalCitizenship provided by #CommonSense, I taught my students a lesson titled "Picture Perfect" about the reality behind digital marketing & photo editing. Incorporate #MediaLiteracy in your classroom! #CSUFedtech https://t.co/eH60au7ihE
My 4th graders love watching BrainPop videos. Check out this great video you can use to teach your students about #MediaLiteracy !! #CSUFedtech#EducatedConsumers https://t.co/hDpj54KzFW
A4: #DigitalCitizenship is a great start for teaching students how to become information literate. My school just earned our #CommonSense recognition for 3rd-6th grade completing a series of Digital Citizenship lessons! #csufedtech
@CSUF_EdTech Great question! I know that my district allows teachers to request access/use of apps, and that it must go through an approval process, however, I have never requested to use a social media platform. Hmm...
A3: For me, the greatest challenge with social media is district permission & parent consent, followed by being concerned about being able to ensure meaningful participation. Parents fear #BYOD because they think their child only uses their device to play games #CSUFedtech
@andra_rachelle I LOVE that! I've been using Class Dojo for years, but apparently not to it's full capacity! :) I'll definitely check out those features!
