@VP@POTUS I didn’t know until 12 weeks. I took 8 tests over 3 months & all came back falsely neg, so I attributed my lack of cycle to my PCOS. Then I found out I’d been pregnant for months. I wanted to be, but the experience has only made me more a fierce advocate for reproductive freedom.
@capitalweather@ChrisGloninger Unreal. I'm at a point now where arguing w/ or trying to persuade ignorant, anti-science lunatics is totally futile. They're beyond help. If they don't want to believe in climate change, fine. It will still impact them, their families, & their farms, regardless of their beliefs.
@CoshaPickles Oof, I'm so sorry you had side effects. I'd say the only one for me that I noticed was...increased frequency in the bathroom? It took probably about 2 months to fully settle down and normalize.
I hope you find something that works for you in a way you don't have to suffer. <3
@VirgoSpirit It's also prescribed for people with PCOS, like me. It helped me ovulate and conceive after years of infertility. I don't take it anymore, so if there is some run on it and a shortage happens, I've got a little supply I'm happy to share with others. <3
@deviantgauge I took metformin not for diabetes, but to help with ovulation for my really awful PCOS. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant and feel like a miracle has occurred. To each their own, but if "poison" allows me to be a mom like I've always wanted, give me all of it.
@authenticTERF Why do you care what others do with their bodies so much that you’d spend all morning on Twitter debating? Why would you spend your limited time on this planet focusing on anything other than your loved ones & happiness? How do others impact you to this level? It’s truly pitiful.
@CNNPolitics That's because of (a) old ass career politicians & the incumbent advantage, (b) the cost of funding campaigns is astronomical w/o campaign finance reform, & (c) we are all working 40+ hours per week just to exist check to check in order to house ourselves in apartments & eat.
I know a lot of you wanted a technical breakdown of this meme so here it is!
I don't think you will find this level of detail anywhere else so keep reading if you don't want to miss out.
@megynkelly Explain a solution then, Megyn. You say we should focus on mental health, but you also know the GOP votes against all legislation increasing access to health care. They provide no real solution for any/all issues the country faces, period. It’s all rhetoric and deflection.
We have completely jumped the shark as a nation. The world looks at us in absolute bewilderment as we slaughter each other with guns, and throw our hands up in resignation.
It's pathetic. https://t.co/s0LkdLnzy9
sometimes my cat will walk around the house meowing loudly and mournfully from room to room for minutes and we're like, "what is this epic tale of loss he's trying to tell," and it turns out he just wanted to let us know he used the litter box
@LyonsDem All of this, plus: despite guns being the leading cause of death for children, the GOP not only refuses to pass sensible gun control legislation, they actively promote gun proliferation & what legislation they do pass surrounding guns makes them *easier* to access & kill kids.
@cenkuygur How childish! It's wild you drafted/posted this & thought it would land well, improve the situation, or help others understand your point. It reads like a 13 y/o troll post & it's embarrassing that you can't conduct yourself maturely when critiqued. Emma was overly gracious imo.
