What should've been said in Colorado punditry. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Denver Post ed board. And how many panel shows does the Independence Institute get?
I’ll never tire of pointing out that David Sirota would have killed the Affordable Care Act if people had followed his advice. He nearly derailed the final vote to try and score points in the 2010 primary. Take his advice only if he can ever concede error.
They *need* to believe that the public is with them on all these things they care about and it's just establishment figures holding them back in some corrupt bargain. Their positions are never unpopular or difficult to achieve. It's either bad faith or just plain dogmatism.
Oh very well. It's pointless arguing with these folks since it only validates their worldview that "WE'RE TRYING TO SHUT THEM DOWN," but I actually welcome this faction airing their belief for Democratic primary voters that Obama was a failed president. Let's have it out.
The FUNDAMENTAL lesson Democrats need to learn before 2028 is WHY did Obama fail so we don't repeat those same mistakes.
We CANNOT have another Obama style failure in 2029 like he did in 2009.
Here's one version. People like Sirota *need* to believe that Bernie or any other left wing insurgent like Nader didn't actually throw an election to the GOP. That's too much responsibility. The *need* to believe their actions didn't nearly kill the ACA.
Let’s check back in on this tweet after June 30. The Justice Democrats might be making a bigger indictment of the caucus and assembly process than they realize.
29-year incumbent Diana Degette was 7 votes away from not even making the ballot tonight — @MelatKirosCO won 2x her votes & has the momentum.
Like Melat said: "Every advance this party has ever made was because someone was willing to push past what was settled, safe & familiar."
Another good one. Maybe more “differences” with a TV reporter exposing corruption. Or late stage capitalism. Or… I dunno. Who are we supposed to be mad at now? https://t.co/6Em2VCRwFK
NEW: Progressive State Sen. Julie Gonzales is dropping her Democratic Socialist affiliation as she challenges Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO).
Gonzales told me she is no longer a member of the DSA.
If you work in politics and ever had "differences" with Kyle Clark, it's because you are part of a corrupt, establishment regime that is terrified of real journalists who expose hypocrisy and corruption
For example, this interview was a good one. I can’t tell in the trolling worldview whether Tim Hernandez is corrupt, or maybe it’s Kyle Clark. https://t.co/g6UdYkBkQH
BREAKING: Chuck Norris, the actor and martial artist known for a string of hit action movies and the series "Walker, Texas Ranger," has died, according to his family. He was 86.

@jacobin Good lord. I wonder if the candidate herself embraces the idea that she’s the new tea party. Might be worth asking her. #copolitics https://t.co/sev2ccbDvh
It's so enraging because anyone who paid attention knew what we were potentially doing to ourselves. You have to ask yourself and your friends if their eyes were on the ball in 2024.
