I’ll stand with you. I’ll kneel with you. I’ll yell with you. I’ll march with you. I’m angry with you. I cry with you. I will listen. And when you are unable or not heard, I’ll speak for you. You are my friends, my family, my community. This is my fight too. #BlackLivesMatter
The Insurrection Act of 1807 should have been amended or repealed long ago - and this President using it to respond to grieving and angry communities isn't leadership... It's cowardice and violent escalation. #AmericaOrTrump#JusticeForGeorgeFloyd
Rioting and looting—that’s selfish, destructive, criminal, contemptible. But a president who assaults peaceful protesters, who threatens military force on American streets, who instigates and escalates—that’s something far more dangerous. That too must be condemned unequivocally.
@ktforsythe@MorgaineCoonCat I get this every time someone finds out I have PTSD. “But YoUr NoT a VeT!” Even my primary cares ask me if I’m a veteran when they read my cart.
@CiaraRayneCloud @MorgaineCoonCat@Burssty If anyone finds out I have PTSD. The first question is oh did you serve? Nope. Followed by how do you have PTSD if you weren’t in combat. I’m a MilSpouse and all for Veteran mental health care but we need to educate the public that vets are a small percentage of those with PTSD.
