"There is no limit to God. There is no limit to His wisdom. There is no limit to His power. There is no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy." —Billy Graham
Following Jesus isn’t about adding Him to your life. It’s about giving Him your life. Christianity isn’t pick and choose. It’s wholehearted surrender to the one true God.
"At this moment, you can say an everlasting 'Yes' to Jesus Christ. He can solve your problems, lift your burdens, quiet your heart and soul, and today you can know the peace that passes all understanding by letting Christ come into your heart." —Billy Graham
From my morning reading:
Why, my soul, are you so dejected?
Why are you in such turmoil?
Put your hope in God, for I will still praise him, my Savior and my God.
- Psalms 42:11
As we celebrate Independence Day and thank God for the freedoms and blessings we enjoy, BillyGraham’s message remains as relevant as ever: America’s deepest need is a humble dependence on God.
As the United States of America marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, we have much to be grateful for—but also much to reflect upon. Billy Graham challenged Americans to examine the “stitches” of sin and brokenness that still exist in our nation and reminded us of God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
This Fourth of July, as we celebrate God’s faithfulness to our country, may we thank Him for His goodness, seek His forgiveness, and pray for His continued guidance, wisdom and favor for America.
Our outward appearance matters little. Let your inward character radiate from your inner soul outward as your true beauty, attractiveness and worth to the world around you.
“#Clothe - Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, #compassionate hearts, #kindness, #humility, meekness, and #patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, #forgiving eachother; as the Lord has forgiven you,so you also must forgive
Praise isn’t reserved for life’s blessings. You’ll find that often, when you feel like praising Him the least, that’s when you need to praise Him the most. God is always worthy.
“No one deserves God’s love, but He offers it anyway. His saving grace changes our course from eternal judgment to eternal life. Choose life.” —Billy Graham
From my morning reading:
“May the Lord bless you and protect you;
may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.”
- Numbers 6:24-26
As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, I am calling for 50 days of prayer—from this Friday, May 15, through July 4. We have one pastor from every state who will lead us in prayer for America at noon every day here on my X page or at https://t.co/kjOvqLJdJT. Let’s join together in PRAYER for our country! “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12).
“Say yes to Christ. It involves a choice of your intellect. It is a choice of your emotions. It is a choice of your will. It must be a choice of your total personality, yielded to Christ by faith in Him.” —Billy Graham
"It is humbling to imagine that even in His heavenly glory, Christ knocks on the doors of our hearts, asking to come in. If we open that door, we will stand before Him. What a glorious moment." —Billy Graham
