@flash_reversed_ uhhuh, why would you do that though? i mean i am sure you're good at it, but why would you try to find something about someone without their conscious knowledge, unless you were interested, of course
@flash_reversed_ i even met an oomf once! i did tell my college name to like 2 oomfs, but that was solely because i had known them for sometime, we were the same age and joined college that year;
so you are good at elimination and deduction? or simply perceptive with all the information you've?
@flash_reversed_ not that i have applied this, but this seems the most probable way to go for whenever you need to approach the new acquaintance situation
i think a few oomfs even know the address to my college, not very preserving of the then 18yo me
@japanidoggy he's not a friend, i have acquaintances, nice ones, but everybody likes drama, so i would rather not tell anyone anything about him, not for his sake, but my well being
@flash_reversed_ that's when level playing field matters, no? when both parties don't know eachothers names and both can skip that, maybe they can get acquainted & build some level of trust since nobody is at a dis/advantage here and once you know-know someone, it's okay to reveal name and all ig
@japanidoggy eventho we're classmates, i haven't even looked at him since march last year, let alone talking to him and now he's suddenly messaging me??? i absolutely didn't want to text him back but didn't understand what would be the best course of action after this, so i did (big mistake)
@flash_reversed_ i mean, i don't know who's who, and i have become very conscious about who i even tell my name to, which i would if i knew someone, but since i don't even tell my name, how can i expect to know someone
@japanidoggy absolutely not, quite the opposite actually, he sent me a very long message, basically jalebi tye baatein and he's a weirdo, everybody seems to think that he's a good boy but that's only because i have never told anyone the way he behaves with me
