@NonsenseIsland What’s particularly cool about this is that films of the 30s, 40s Golden Age etc give the impression that people spoke differently and more eloquently then today; then you see these gags and realize they essentially spoke and cursed the same way 🥸
Dangerously low wind chill values are expected tonight into tomorrow thanks a combination of cold temperatures and gusty winds. Check out the graphic to learn why the wind makes the cold temps even worse for your body.

#BREAKING US autocrat Donald Trump threatens to fire the nation's top medical expert following revelations of a quiet campaign to encourage mask use by his supporters by pointing out that masks allow wearers to publicly root for incompetent racists while hiding their identities.
#BREAKING The US election comes at a time when the country is reeling from a series of humanitarian disasters including a pandemic that has claimed nearly a quarter million lives and brought its economy to the brink of collapse, exacerbating already fraught ethnic tensions.
#BREAKING Polls are set to open in 48 hours across the US as the authoritarian regime of Donald Trump attempts to consolidate its hold over the troubled, oil-rich, nuclear-armed, north American nation. Analysts are sceptical the election will end months of political violence.
Frankly, even though we cannot physically leave this disaster zone, try to give yourself a mental or figurative "shore leave". Short mental escapes can offer respite and distance from the everyday struggle. Take more mental "leave" until you clear the wall. /8
This is my first pandemic, but not my first 6 month wall. So, what can I share to help you? First, the wall is real and normal. And frankly, it's not productive to try to ram your head through it. It will break naturally in about 4-6 weeks if you ride it out. /5
The 6 month mark in any sustained crisis is always difficult. We have all adjusted to this "new normal", but might now feel like we're running out of steam. Yet, at best, we are only 1/3 the way through this marathon. How can we keep going? THREAD /x
hi @evernote web clipper isn't working for a couple weeks now, and I checked the Chrome extension and saw several other people having issues. what's wrong? we're missing it! cc @evernotehelps
13 years ago, I emailed Dr. Fauci out of the blue to ask if I might interview him for my undergrad thesis. He invited me to his office, where he answered all my questions. When I sent him the thesis, HE READ THE WHOLE THING (see his overly effusive review below). Who does that?!
@EVAAirUS I have a trip booked CNX>Taipei on Monday and then Taipei>Osaka on Feb 29. Sadly with the WHO designating coronavirus a world health emergency, I am now leaving Asia to go to Europe. Can you help with canceling & refunding my flights? Thank you!!
Hi @flowapp every time I try to get into my account on your app (for the first time, but it’s been weeks of random attempts), i get this error message. What do I do to log in?
@askUHC I'm abroad and your portal no longer lets me search for intl providers (it used to, I did it!). I keep calling #s to get help to find doctors, but either they can't help, the call drops, or I'm on hold forever. I'm trying to follow your process & it's wasting my time.
