@lorrainecandy Lorraine, 6 months ago this book would have been a life saver. As it is, a rotten phase of night anxiety is being eased by reading words to things I couldn’t describe. I’m finding myself laughing about things I hadn’t seen the funny side of before. And the odd tear. Good tears.

@lorrainecandy Have just burst into tears at ur article. HRT has helped so much but 4 yrs in and I’ve recently started with anxiety panics nightmares and most frightening of all - that parasomnia. No idea it was a thing. Thought I was losing my mind. HUGE relief reading ur words. Thank You xxx

@caitlinmoran End of first term, son complained how tired he was. I assumed cz of partying. But he was tired of ‘thinking’. Thinking about what to have for tea, what he needs to buy for tea, when he’s going to buy it, when he needs clean clothes for, when he’s going to wash the clothes …

@JimTheMarket It’s just the best isn’t it. Regular past time in this house. Love it. When we drove my eldest to uni and listened to his playlist all the way, releasing how many songs he’d ‘stolen’ from us. Music of our youth became part of his. Just the best feeling.
