A4 Formative scores should never go into the grade book. In order for our students to demonstrate their growth they need constructive feedback! Feedback allows the students to reflect and move forward #sblchat
A3 For my students a grade is not entered into the grade book until mastery has been shown. If not yet mastered the grade can always be improved/changed once the student has consistently demonstrated their learning about said topic #sblchat
A1 Grades are put into grade books to communicate with parents how their child is doing & to track whether or not our students are meeting each of the standards. #sblchat
@JeansnBeans This is so fun!!! We have NSCAS testing next week & I would love to come up with something just like this to get everyone motivated and ready to learn! #552Bobcat#552peru
@IXLLearning is the perfect resource for students to practice language arts & math skills aligned to your curriculum. I use both for my guided math & literacy stations. I can monitor the progress of my students as they complete each skill! #552Peru
I like using @brainpop or @AnnieAndMoby as a quick introductory to a lesson or to review key concepts. My students love learning with Tim & Moby! #552Peru#brainpop
This is key in building a positive classroom community. My students greet one another each day at the start of our morning meeting. I have found our short time together in the morning establishes the tone for the rest of the day! #552Peru#SEL
