Another helpful EDFD452 tutorial this week, with the focus on teacher identity and interviews. It was great to reflect on our own teacher identities and further discuss these in an interview scenario activity. #acuedu_p

Love using this behaviour management strategy. Students get to place their name on the chart if they have done something positive. Once all the spaces are full, the whole class gets a reward of their choosing. Such a great way to enhance team work skills. #ACUedu_p

An assessment is gathering students' knowledge on topics that have been taught and reviewing their understanding. From this, teachers can identify ways to improve teaching and learning strategies and better ways for content to be absorbed. #acuedu_p
Managing behaviour extends beyond the classroom. The use of a ‘playground contract’ holds students accountable for their actions. This is the first I have seen this at my previous placement school. #acuedu_p
This is a great technique for behaviour management. I have been told by teachers that within their first few years of teaching they had some trouble with constantly using their voice to manage the classroom. This would make for a great alternative, I would love to give this a go!
