Is anyone else thinking we are starting to see the impact of 2 years of disruption and time at home, due to COVID 19, in schools? Extreme behaviours? Some pupils very emotional and struggling to regulate? Low attendance compared to normal? Winter bugs hitting hard?

@vwallop Leeds is the perfect combination of campus and city uni- all on one campus but 5 minute walk from campus to town. And 15-20 min walk to where students live from 2nd year onwards

@honestteacher72 Love the idea of a big table- would be a lot easier if I had my own classroom/taught them in the same room. I was thinking primary routines could work well but struggling to think of many other than having student monitors

@MissHudsonHist I started painting abstract canvases (I’ve never been arty)- just a plain canvas from home bargains, some poly filler to add texture and paint testers- then sell them on FB market place - fills time, is enjoyable and makes a bit of money on the side

I’ve worked in a school for over 2 years and today was the first time some of them seen me without a mask, one child literally stopped and stared at my face and goes ‘hmm wasn’t expecting that’ and walked away???
