Today for R.E, we discussed and reflected on our skills and talents and how they are going to help in our future aspirations. We linked this to the lovely story, ‘The Tale of Three Trees’. Beautiful artwork created by P6B (and inspired by @KylePentland and p6A!)

A fun STEM challenge today! We have been exploring triangles and discussing how they are used in different structures due to their strength. We built our own geodesic domes using cocktail sticks and sweeties. Excellent teamwork demonstrated as we investigated different strategies

This week we have looking at the blue cog from @EmotionWorksCIC and have been identifying the different strategies we can use to regulate our emotions. We created beautiful drawings to demonstrate “a bridge to help us get over troubled waters”.

Today P6B explored the First Bus and ScotRail timetables to plan a journey to and from Edinburgh with set criteria. The data was compared, with careful consideration about how to get there on time and the cost of the journey.

Great work from P6 this week as we started our new topic by exploring the Roman timeline. We worked in pairs to take notes, identify new information and create our own timeline. There was a lot of excitement as we used our tables as big whiteboards!
