Took me WEEKS longer than I had anticipated to write it because I kept having to take crying breaks. Has to do with when my grandfather passed in 1999. That many years ago and it’s still hard.

I’m weighing in with a #BillCosby post just because my train of thought isn’t one I’ve seen yet.

Let me be clear: Bill Cosby is not innocent, and I am not happy he has been released. At all. What have been running through my head are the bitter ironies of his freedom.

Because of the white supremacy and patriarchy Bill Cosby chased and appealed to, and because of the horrors experienced by Black and Brown people he probably would’t have anything to do with—some of whom were accused of the stuff he actually did—Bill Cosby is free.
