Just been sent this on the P4 chat by another parent. It makes my blood boil. Not that they’re sending it, but it’s there in first place. It’s based on dodgy data presented as fact. It’s harmful to those struggling most and in no way accounts for hard work in ALL schools 🤯

What children need when the pandemic is over: children’s centres, playgroups, youth clubs, sports clubs, swimming, music & drama groups, days out, birthday parties, visits to museums, the theatre, cinemas, residentials, outdoor ed. What they don’t need: more maths and English.
