Day 2 of WOW week! Another day filled with some amazing visitors.

Thanks to today’s visitors, 4 legged & 2! Fantastic first day to kick start World of Work wk. We learned all about lambing, the Navy, the makeup industry in film/TV, Garnock Valley Helping Hands & farm to fork! We loved a clap of the lambs & playing with some fake blood 🐑💄⛴️

We are currently investigating forces & today we were experimenting with gravity & friction. We were tasked with the challenge of designing & building a lander that would safely deliver an egg to the ground! Well done to T, M, J, D & J for successfully landing their egg 👏🏽

Investigating Friction! 🕵🏼‍♀️

We used Newton balances to measure the level of friction between a shoe sole & a surface👟

We also carried out an experiment using different surfaces to investigate the level of friction between them and a toy car 🚗 @NAC_STEM
