Do you notice the differences between these three scenarios?
Equality: everyone gets the same support
Equity: everyone gets what they need
Accessibility: asks the Q, "Why don’t we make things accessible for all from the beginning?"

SO thankful for this experience at Charles City Middle School! A special thank you to @mrsnelsonin567 for mentoring me for a week. Next step--STUDENT TEACHING!
On a side note: What about literacy and STEM? How beneficial are the two put together? I just attended a workshop in Johnston at the AEA on Friday... I gained great ideas. More than I could have even imagined! #iaedchat#ISUci454
@SJUpah @JenHoulette Right?! Especially how helpful they are for their colleagues. I didn't realize how much support and knowledge they can give to teachers #iaedchat
@a_krehbiel13 This is great. I'm sure your student really values that you took their suggestion seriously. I'll have to do this when I'm a practicing teacher! #iaedchat#ISUci454
A5: as a pre-service teacher...TEXTBOOKS! I wish I had more time to read for fun. Thank goodness for books on tape that I can listen to on my way to work. My latest one was for my SS methods class. 'Return to Sender' #iaedchat#ISUci454
@SJUpah @iowajonhuebner I saw this in my el-ed practicum as well.. each teacher had a post outside of their door of the book they were reading. It included the title, author, and picture of the book cover. #iaedchat
@SJUpah @shfarnsworth I love this! Ss want to read about things that interest them..not what they are forced to read about. This would have helped me a lot in HS and I'm sure it will help the learning in Nevada.
