I've been thinking about this update a lot and i truly can't say anything positive. Literally changing genres for a game to "celebrate" its Anniversary feels like a slap in the face

I got excited at first because I thought they were converting Gekishin Squadra into an over-the-shoulder MOBA like Deadlock.

But apparently, they’re just removing the MOBA aspect from the game entirely, so I guess it’s basically a huge screw you to the current fans.

I’ve been playing since the first alpha of Project Multi, and they already said they were going to revamp Great Apes, which they never did. Instead of actually fixing the problems Gekishin has, they have just brushed them to the side and now they’re basically trashing the entire game and making a new one that just reuses the assets of what came before.

This feels like a horrible decision. You’re alienating the existing fanbase in an attempt to attract a completely new one instead of improving the game people already supported. I genuinely don’t see how this is supposed to be a good thing.

This camera change alone obliterates all of squadra

One of the key features about why the camera angle is from above in moba games is because it gives you 360° vision

For ex. Having 30 vision allows you to vanish away from cell if he's coming from behind to stagger you
