@akelahall@smithsmm@mrHunTlpool@A_mcgeeney I think it has to be 3 times a year with one usually a written report - there’s guidance somewhere for sure. I would insist on SLT sitting with you and have clear plan with them when they are to take over. If they won’t, I’d contact your union for advice.
We are having an open afternoon for free at our school, showing how we use LBQ, specifically in maths. Anyone is welcome to come and see how we use it. It will be based in Year 6.

@oldandrewuk@kerryleelondon Yes. I’m a Head:we have a statement of practice for what to do and go through it each year. It’s not just about a major incident (e.g terrorism) it’s for any event where need the kids in e.g dog on playground! 2 schs I know had to lockdown recently: silly not to know what to do.
Leaders, if you ask someone if you can ‘have a quick chat at the end of the day’ at least have the decency to tell them what it’s about.
It will save a lot of wasted worry.
