@ProjectPearson Imma just leave this here in case someone is curious about Arnold Viersen's "rap career"
And yes, this video is real and is just a section of the full 2:30 min "rap".
@RobinHoodlum@AdrianaLaGrange Thanks!!!!
That is egregious and is exactly the point I was trying to make
The UCP either wont listen or don't want to hear it & it's unconscionable
@stormydrainiels@AdrianaLaGrange This⬆️
They'll gobble up all the butter while the rest of people will be stuck using the "dry toast" of healthcare systems
@mikeross_YYC@MichelleLA1981 I love your replies! I try to be kind, even on here but I super appreciate that you say the things I'm thinking. Excuse the platitude's but I feel like it takes a village / you're the yin to my yang (lol); I kill 'em with kindness & you just kill 'em & I love it!
Never change!
@HILITINGHOCKEY Did you make this???? It's AWESOME!!!! I love it sooo much!!!! And sooo on point!!!
Please excuse my excessive punctuation, I was just trying to convey how much I enjoyed it and I type how I talk and when I get excited, I get really excited. So yep, basically I'm a nutter, lol
@FarhanKhanCA Camping out at night in the winter can also be fun, in outdoor ed they taught kids how to build a Quinzhee & it was EPIC
I feel super fortunate to have gone to school where I did in Ontario, I feel like we had so many opportunities. In grade 6 I even had curling lessons!
@FarhanKhanCA That sounds so lovely!
In elementary school we used to go skiing & snowshoeing in the forest & would practice using a compass. They even got parents to make bird houses that we went & installed & every year we would go clean them out so that new birds could use them. 💛
@FarhanKhanCA That sounds amazing!
We actually paint our windows to match every season as we have bird feeders & I don't want the little guys crashing into the window. I use stencils that my partner, an artist, actually makes for me. It's super fun
You could also help them make an igloo!
@Tonyacpink@prairiecentrist I love Toronto, it's not quite as good as Montreal but there's just so much life there, the city has a buzz that I absolutely love. I used to be in downtown TO every other month for work and I would walk at night there too and people were lovely.
@Cazzy It's surprisingly not as big as we think, it's not top 5. While other sites give detailed, accurate info on their user numbers, Twitter does not but estimates put it at 20-40% of Canadians using it, whereas Facebook is almost 80%, Youtube's over 54% and Insta's over 50%
@BCFerrys Like Camus said "We need the sweet pain of anticipation to tell us we are really alive" And on the topic of the absurd, it's not merely a philosophical concept; with BC Ferries, and even more so with BC Ferrys, the absurd is a lived experience :)
@SocTransitLover I used to work out of the aquarium because they had free wifi and I could sit by the sea lions or jelly fish so I totally get your thinking here.
