@exodusprint @jarpad@JensenAckles To me that confession was naively included by the writers as a nod to Destiel fans, it felt random to me to throw that in at that point. I was never rooting for Destiel, I chose to see it as platonic love which didnt require further clarification.
@stanfordlawboy I'm glad they ended it with the bros. The show was about their bond and the journey they've been on since Sam was a baby and their life was turned upside down. Yes there were lots of great secondary characters that became like family, but it was right for it to end with Sam&Dean.
@AlisonSWDW@SuperWiki@jarpad@JensenAckles I wish Dean's story had ended differently, but so happy it ended with the emphasis on the brothers and their bond. Its a shame the finale was hijacked by angry cas fans who confuse fanfic with the actual show. I really hope the boys are focusing on the positive fan comments!
I've actually fallen down a Twitter rabbit hole since the #SPN finale! WTF am I even reading? I'm actually mad at all the Cas fans and people who can't tell the difference between fanfic and reality ruining the end of a great show that these guys worked hard on for 15 years!
@windykl@EW People are really confusing fanfic with the show, I don't know why the writers chose to make Cas give that speech when there's been nothing suggesting a relationship outside of brothers/friends before that. Seems like it was done to appease a part of the fanbase, but backfired.
@SuperWiki The writers shouldnt have given a nod to the fanfic world cos it was taken as much more than that. To me Cas/Dean was never a thing. Maybe Misha spoke out as he prob feels he fuelled it a bit. I feel bad for them, this has clouded the finale and their work being celebrated.
@tammy_ren It's sad that some of the fanbase hate the ending just cos they didn't get their dean/cas fantasy validated. It was never about that. The story was about the brotherly/family bond& that was consistent throughout. I think the finale was fine, although I didn't want Dean to die.
@kandeejohnson I preffered watching so much more back then. Everyone was just genuinely sharing tips/ products, helping girls feel confident doing makeup. Now most show a standard of beauty that most girls can't even reach & the over promoting of products killed it for me. It all feels fake.
My 5 year old is obsessed with space and dwarf planets! The only way to get him to do anything is to make it relate to planets in some way. Today we practiced spelling dwarf planet names and he wrote a book about the solar system. #homeschooling#QuarantineDiaries#mumlife
