Super impressed with my year 11s dedicating time to intervention.
One group focusing on revision techniques and knowledge
One group focusing on exam skill and extended answers
100% attendance both weeks with additional homework completed #huxlowambition#huxlowpride
What a day!
1. Year 11 completed their final exam. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but I’m so proud of each and every one of them
2. Saw an ex-student who was beaming when telling me about his apprenticeship
3. Gorgeous classes all day
4. Birthday celebrations with my family💖
Easter 2023 has been an interesting one….
Said our final goodbyes to Nanna
But it’s also the first holiday since I’ve been teaching where I truly feel I’ve switched off. Feeling refreshed and ready for the next term! ✌🏼
After an incredibly difficult start of the week for my family logging on to my work emails and receiving a lovely message from one of my form makes things that bit easier. It’s reminders like this that I have the privilege of working with such kind young people 🥰
fantastic to see how many of my lovely yr11 class dedicated time after school to revise hospitals through time and key individuals. All set a mini revision task to revise a key individual and be prepared to teach the others next time! #huxlowambition#huxlowpride
A couple of weeks ago one of my form brought in breadsticks and shared them with everyone. I said that cheese twists were far superior! Fast forward to today and cheese twists arrived! Just an example of the kind and fantastic students we have here! 🥰#TeamHuxlow
