As part of our Leader in Me program, kindergarten students learned what genius meant and drew pictures of themselves being a genius at something. From singers to basketball players to fishing to helping others, they all drew something they are great at! @CloughPikeElem @WestCler

The little moments matter! A few months ago, I decided to begin doing check-ins with a student that was struggling. The other day we did this writing and he wrote his letter to me. This is why I love my job- getting to be there for my students and show them endless love & support

This week @CloughPikeElem kinders have been learning all about space, including the moon! Today in room 105, we worked in table groups to make our own moon phases out of Oreo cookies! Of course, we ate the “moon phases” afterwards!

After listening to “Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes”, we went on our own adventure around the school to find Pete’s shoes and learn about important places in our building! We even decorated our own special “school shoe”. #LoveWC @CloughPikeElem @WestCler
