we don’t have to inherit the dysfunction that was passed down to us. as you start to develop more clarity and put the lessons you’ve been learning into practice… you understand you’re actively breaking cycles and closing the loop of trauma. you’re worthy of a fuller life.

i cannot exist in spaces where the mutual effort to keep each other safe and add to each other’s joy is not abundantly clear and i no longer try to force something that isn’t a good fit, because that was the source of a lot of confusion and anxiety.
