Any advice is VERY much appreciated! ❤

Going into my RQT year I am teaching Year 12 for the first time which I am extremely excited but very nervous about. Does anyone know if there is a set vocabulary list for AQA Spanish A-level like there is for GCSE? If not, how do you decide what vocabulary to focus on?

[Miss Tooze @misstooze]

@MissBEnglishNQT Omg this is amazing! What is the TLR for?! Good luck! You will be amazing, I have every faith in you! 🎉🥰

[Miss Tooze @misstooze]

@MissBEnglishNQT I've given up chocolate and chocolate drinks for Lent also - I've ended up resorting to Biscoff instead 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Our kids have done the same number of days as in any other school year, just part of it at home. How would people feel if their employer cut two weeks of annual leave just because they had to WFH during lockdown?

[Miss Dixon @missldixon]

Really picked the wrong year to be an NQT didn't I?

[MissP @MissPraR]

Can we just clarify that schools will NOT be closed. Teachers are NOT having days off. We’re ALL still working, still teaching and educating.

Feel so sorry for school leaders who have wasted hours of their Christmas break planning for the start of term, only to have this U-turn today. #shameonyou @educationgovuk @GavinWilliamson

Not now Becky from Twinkl. Read the room...

[MissR @AlwaysLearnWeb]

I'll just wait for my SLT to email me what we are doing on Monday. Until then I have baileys, leftovers and Netflix to get on with.

Hi Gav!
I know you think we’re just the nation’s babysitters, but is there any chance you could tell us what’s happening next week please? You see, we’ve got lesson planning to do... which we have to do even over Christmas! Can you believe it?!
Thanks, hun 😘

@MissThomas_MFL So sorry to hear this. Sending love to you and your family💕

Teaching during Covid has left staff utterly, bone-numbingly exhausted – the least we can do is give them all a duvet day before Christmas, says headteacher Maire O'Regan

I'm super super super tired. I need halfterm.

[Mrs Lyford 🌍🌎🌏 @MissHaywardGeog]

I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but... you're doing better than you think you are, you're teaching in one of the most turbulent times, and absolutely no one has it completely together. Keep going, and treat every day as a new one. You are absolutely amazing ❤

Has anyone else managed to catch a cold after only being back in school for a week? 🙃
