@LittleMsMoerbe@DavidAFrench I would say there is some link between social media addiction and gun violence- I get your worries but reducing screen time overall and giving kids at least one place in their lives to be embodied would be a boon for everyone.
@tracesoffaith Some people instinctively dislike compliments that are about talent, as it places conditions on our value, and they recognize the fallacy, whether consciously or not.
I would come at it like this: do you have joy when you perform and why? Joy/service can overcome her discomfort.
