COAS ORDERS INTENSIFIED MANHUNT AS HE STORMS KEBBI OVER ABDUCTED SCHOOLGIRLS
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Waidi Shaibu, on monday visited Kebbi State and ordered an intensified, round the clock manhunt for the schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga. He met with frontline commanders, addressed troops, and emphasized intelligence led operations, urging soldiers to act decisively and professionally.
Shaibu also engaged local vigilantes and hunters, calling them key partners due to their knowledge of the terrain, and encouraged joint operations to flush out the criminals. He visited the Traditional Ruler of Danko and the school principal, assuring them of the military’s full commitment to rescuing the girls safely.
The COAS later inspected additional deployment points and received an operational briefing. Troops, supported by surveillance assets, have expanded search operations across forests in Danko/Wasagu and surrounding areas.
A MUST WATCH 🎥: For those quick to judge without appreciating the sacrifices of our Nigerian troops, listen to this part of the video where the military officer explains he was called in because of the corps member at the location he was assigned to cover during the election. In this clip, the Deputy Governor is calm, and the situation is peacefully resolved. Sadly, moments like this showing professionalism and restraint rarely go viral.
This policy is older than any of you reading this.
Second slide is an extract from 2002 but since all eyes are on the military and the ‘foreign’ interference, everybody is warming anything for the traffic.
I am not arguing with anyone o, just thought to let you know that agenda go turn you to mumu.
@General_Somto Who noticed the video recording was stopped when the EO was about to speak ?? And the so called deputy governor was asking questions and answering the questions without allowing the officer to speak .
@General_Somto The officer has a constitutional mandate to protect lives and properties in addition to safeguarding democratic institutions. As is the case of the deputy, he’s just loud no substance.
@General_Somto There should be a sanction on the deputy governor for being at the collation center of an election he contested for😏 lawlessness don finish this country
@MikeDollar18@General_Somto Sincerely, some Nigerians are so blind! Deputy governor at electoral office! But it’s the personnel that responded to a distress call from the collation officer that is the problem.
@General_Somto Politics will forever blind some of you. What is a deputy governor doing at a collation office? Now he’s trying to shift attention to the personnel.
