@lewis_goodall It highlights the inertia of our current politics. Every decision is over scrutinised, protested and eventually watered down. The fact we have obsessed for a year about whether or not to give OAP’s £200 is a joke. We will never get big, brave things done. Thus we fall behind
@ro35892@hotspurreports Why? We’ve finished the season with a trophy and CL qualification. That’s a decent season given our thin squad and injury issues. Our situation or 4th = the same but without the trophy. I prefer to win something
@Gazby77@hotspurreports The league starts again in a few weeks. It’s rinse and repeat. Unless you’re in a position to win it , which we are not, then who cares. Bringing silverware to this club should count for something. In 30 yrs time the cup will be remembered, the league will not.
@totnumjoe Not necessarily. Get him a decent squad and we’ll be ok. He’s won a trophy with the worst squad we’ve had in over 20 years. No depth at all. A new manager with the same players would do no better
@implausibleblog The super rich might leave but they’re a drop in the ocean. Most people won’t have the means or the will to just move countries. What about family, culture and identity? If you are a British citizen then you will stay and pay your fair share of tax.
@spectator They are in schools. An absolute menace. They also are an environmental nightmare. No grown adult should need one of these. Nothing but a dummy/teet substitute. Freud would have a field day with this.
@Jackocherty @Strickomaster Obviously not easy for some and that’s why good schools set standards and provide opportunities to remove/reduce the barriers to success
