If Marcus Rashford is to leave Manchester United, it was never happening quickly. His wages are the clear stumbling block. Talent has never been the issue for him but it is hard to afford his salary. It limits the clubs who can sign him.

If reintegration is realistic & is something that Rashford & Michael Carrick want, that is more than fine with me. Put simply, everything he's done for the club outweighs what has happened otherwise. If there can be a happy end to his story, I hope we get to see it.

Anyone with ill feeling about it will need to get over it. As for what that means with the plans for the rest of the transfer window, does that mean going big on an LB & other positions, that is fascinating.

@AdamJoseph Nobody really knows the “what happened otherwise” part except a bunch of e-Reds yelling about attitude & wanting a new challenge under a manager who did everything in his power to drive him out. Reintegration is possible because he doesn’t really have beef with anyone in the club
