It's hard to overstate how significant this is.
True North is an outlet that some mainstream politicians take seriously. Poilievre did a one on one with them. Its managing editor is seeking a Conservative nomination.
And they just had a podcast episode banned for hate speech.
Former Speaker of the House (current salary: $274,500, plus official residence: The Farm), Leader of the Opposition (Current salary: $299,900, plus official residence: Stornoway), and 20-year MP speaks out.
Russia’s savage attack on Poltava reconfirms that Russia is a terrorist state. The only proper response from the West to this appalling killing is to lift all restrictions currently constraining Ukraine from defending itself.
Est-ce que le Québec suivra la Colombie-Britannique pour s’aligner sur les normes des codes de construction d’appartements utilisés dans le reste du monde, y compris l’Europe et l’Asie?
Poilievre either:
1) doesn't understand the distinction between basic political ideologies (embarrassing for a career politician) and genuinely believes the N*zis were socialists
-OR-
2) is lying to his followers and using a painful memorial day to do it
Which is worse? lmao
This is absolutely not a freedom of expression issue. Peterson said his words, and wasn't arrested, charged, fined, nor jailed for them.
However, the College that he belongs to has a Code Of Conduct he agreed to follow. They believe he didn't follow, and hence the action taken.
As a resident of Ottawa, I say the province and feds should absolutely refuse to bail us out.
Ottawa has been poorly governed. It has made terrible planning, tax, and budget decisions. A bailout would incentivize more of the same.
Time for council to sort itself out.
Hey Ted 👋🏽 You know I’m not even eligible to run for president. Maybe it’s time to brush up on the Constitution.
While you’re supporting Donald Trump, a candidate who traffics in hate and called your wife ugly—I’m supporting a capable and qualified candidate to lead our country.
You should sit this one out.
Actually Pierre there is a need for you to turn down the rhetoric.
You recently led a vicious attack on a medical doctor who is now receiving death threats.
When I called you out, I received online death threats with gun images.
Your words matter.

Hairshirt parsimony strikes again! Why would a Canadian diplomat need a space that they can entertain in IN NEW YORK when they should be happy with a bed-sit in the outer suburbs because “Canadians will disapprove”?
We are such a parochial country, and the Elder Pundits feed it.
Doug spends tax $$ on interactive maps to cross picket lines.
Here are maps I would like to see
-fully staffed ERs with minimal waits
-available family drs
-healthy schools w/air filtration, safe water & fully staffed
-mental health supports
-affordable housing
Get ‘er done
I’m hearing folks say liquor privatization won’t matter because businesses pay taxes on sales.
Unfortunately that’s not true. LCBO generates revenue-not just tax proceeds-that make up that $2.5B. Loblaws isn’t going to hand over their profit to fund healthcare and education.
It makes me furious that @fordnation can publish an interactive map to find beer after just one weekend but he won’t do the same thing to help any of the 2.3 million Ontarians who can’t find a family doctor.

Rental increases are a provincial jurisdiction.
Provinces have control over how much rent can rise in a year. They have the power to stop it from rising that much, and they chose not to.
Premiers. Not Justin Trudeau.
