@MAS653 @Ms_Gelphy @amymayforrester I believe the conversation at play was notice periods compared to other careers. I believe length of holidays (or week’s contracted per year) is an equally fair comparison. These things don’t exist in a vacuum.

@Ms_Gelphy @amymayforrester The verb trapped is an interesting choice of vocabulary. I have no problem with long notice periods. Students need to be taught by professionals and finding a replacement isn’t a quick job. Other professions may not require the long notice but may not offer sizeable holidays.
