@GuyLambertUK I not only remember this, but I might even have a copy somewhere in my parents attic. I used to record this kind of stuff a lot as a kid.
@Doinkadect Pretty sure Sierra Leone was disproven too. There were rumours the archive had been destroyed, but then the bloke that found EOTW found it and it discovered no Who there.
@Doinkadect In fact, as a preservationist and a Who fan as well, Iโd say he very likely didnโt have any, as he would have likely handed them over at some point over the last 60 years.
@Doinkadect Thereโs no evidence the collector in โ23 ever had ANY Doctor Who. Some of his recordings were destroyed before the collection was preserved, but thereโs never been anything to suggest he had missing Who beyond the fact that he liked the show.
@DW_MidJourney@bobizgrate Completely agree - it's one of the worst things about DW fandom. There's a weird authoritarian element with some fans over certain things.
@MrDominicMiller@TrilbeeReviews I know which shot you mean, but if you watch it in context, *that* lighting decision makes complete sense. Thereโs a bright light source directl in front of the character in that scene.
@Adobe@1bridgeyboo What you shared was this, which explicitly states that bug fixes will start to be discontinued next year. Please respond and confirm that this decision has since been reverted, and that what OP wrote about was accurate at their time of posting.
@pie1883 How is it that, after so many years, there isnโt a single webpage with all of the telesnaps readily available to view? I remember trying to track high res ones down for a reconstruction years ago and theyโre just not out there in any reliable form. Itโs wild.
@Pete_2097@TimelessDoctors@gbsheard Criticism and comments content (which is 99% of DW creators who use Patreon) is legally exempt by its very nature. Creating new episodes of a series owned by another company is where youโre going to find trouble. The two are not equal.
@TimelessDoctors@gbsheard I think itโs quite silly for someone to be against AI in the context of a fan film. For a genuine, professional piece of work? Sure. AI has no place there. For a fan project that is already stealing liberally from the source material? Itโs kinda in the spirit. Canโt wait for it!
@Pete_2097@TimelessDoctors@gbsheard Using kickstarter to find a fan project that primarily uses copyrighted content for its existence is a dreadful idea, like - really big legal trouble bad.
@darren2189@floellaumbagabe It was originally release by Delicious Digital if I remember correctly, it was (and probably still is) publicly available in their catalog in 2010.
@floellaumbagabe This was 100% found at the time it came out, I remember because I used to have a copy of it. It was from a website selling stock/trailer music - there were maybe 5 or so variations of it with differing instrumentation.
@Sophistrys_Sake @UrbanDFW @brndxix@Camren02330769 Kid, you canโt even โnoticeโ the clearly evil intentions of a the racist billionaire buying his way into world politics.
