📣 Avian Fundamental Upgrades Donation Fund is LIVE!

The community voted to prioritize fundamental upgrades, and now it’s time to make it happen! We’re launching a donation fund to bring in developers to complete the smart contract integration and BlockDAG implementation.

Over the past year, no new developers have volunteered to work for free, and our current team is too small to handle this alone. Funding will allow us to reward developers for their contributions while ensuring transparent progress updates.

- Goal: $30k–$60k+
- Accepting USDT & USDC on Ethereum & Polygon
- All spending will be publicly posted on X & Discord.

If funding is too low after a couple of months, donations (minus fees) will be refunded, and we may shift focus to securing an exchange listing instead.

Rules:
- Full Transparency – All spending of donated funds will be publicly posted on X & Discord.
- Strict Usage – Funds will only be used for smart contract integration & BlockDAG upgrades. Developers will be paid after completing agreed-upon work.
- Refunds if Necessary – If total donations remain below a few thousand after a couple of months, funds will be refunded (minus transaction fees). If funding falls short, smart contracts & BlockDAG upgrades will be delayed or scrapped until resources become available.
- No Other Use Cases – Donations will not be redirected to other expenses unless explicitly voted on by the community.
- Fallback Plan – If this initiative doesn't reach the required funding, we may relaunch a donation drive for an exchange listing, as it was the second most favored option in the community poll.

In addition to #Polygon $MATIC, we have deployed contracts and are working to support other EVM chains for the $AVN to $WAVN safe automatic bridge. Soon, WAVN may also be available on #Ethereum #Optimism, and #Arbitrum networks, expanding the reach and possibilities at launch.

So far 6.48 billion $AVN have been mined which is 30.87% of the total 21 billion supply. The 12-year #Avian emissions graph shows current position in the timeline. With block reward halving every 2 years distribution will gradually slow down creating supply shocks similar to $BTC #Bitcoin distribution model. With future Avian #Kaspa $KAS blockdag implementation, emission model stays the same while block reward will be adjusted based on increased number of blocks to issue same amount of coins in the specified timeframe.
