@MartinSLewis @OliviaHutton146 You want to be sacking off any Balsamic ones. They are not a pure representation of S&V crisps. BTW - Co-op will walk this, the Aldi version are good knock offs. Pringles are inconsistent, but when you get a good pack…..you know. Proper mouth stingers, that’s what you want.
Everyone has been going on about the cost of football shirts this summer, but replica tops have always been expensive. The cost of an Everton shirt in the summer of 1998 was £44.99 - the equivalent of £82 now…..
@MattyWright86 Some of it has been a bit overstated. There are lots of highlight experts who have no idea how it actually panned out. Watching us live was a different story. Unexpected yes, but the chance to upgrade was there and the club took it. Still a far cry from Hartlepool away on Sky 😉
@MattyWright86 The team wasn’t as bad as Parker made out. The PL really isn’t all that, hence why it looked as it 8/9 teams were in danger of going down. O’Neil seemed a good guy, and I think we were all shocked how it happened but probably was inevitable at some point. Owners are ambitious.UTC
@MattyWright86 He did very well to keep us up. He clearly cared, and worked hard and the fans are generally thankful for that. However, there were obvious limitations and some of the football was dreadful. Hard to pick out what were trying to do.
@CDBaker86 Keeping us up was a fine achievement, and I thought he’d be given a chance for the coming season. April’s form saved us, but for much of the rest of the season we were dreadful. The owners are very ambitious, and I think it is a bold decision, that would have been inevitable.
Perhaps the board looked at the opening fixtures and thought they may as well do it now. It would be inevitable. With a new manager imminent, then this must have been rumbling for a while BTS. Doesn’t help when you lose your last four matches and only score once….#afcb
