For those unaware, VA-TF1/USA-01 is the most elite and experienced Urban Search and Rescue Team on planet earth when it comes to earthquakes and building collapse. There isn’t another Type 1 USAR Team anywhere that has the real world experience that these guys and gals have.

I can’t imagine what these guys were thinking and what not. It would be hard for the mind to comprehend in realtime as you see dust plumes coming up from buildings collapsing at the same time while in a boat just offshore.

If all of these are actually from Venezuela, there will be at least 2 federal USAR Teams deployed to that. VA-TF1 along with a team Cali or Florida would seem most likely to me.

Esp given the 1st video. That’s absolutely catastrophic damage in a high density urban environment that carries a sky high risk for secondary collapse with any aftershocks.
